Technical Abilities
Firing Kilns- I have experience in firing gas reduction and oxidation, electric, assisting
with soda, wood, and raku firings.
Studio Maintenance- Making clay, mixing glazes, mixing slip, loading kilns, cleaning
kilns, making cone packs, grinding and washing shelves, cleaning sink traps

2017- Present- Studio Assistant at Odyssey ClayWorks, Asheville, NC - Working in this
studio provides the ability to expand my own body of work, have access to teaching a
broad dynamic of groups and individuals, helping with an array of events, working a
weekly shift to contribute to keeping the studio running efficiently.
2017- Summer Resident Artist at Odyssey ClayWorks, Asheville, NC - Helped
coordinate and assist children’s summer camp for ten weeks. Shared the
responsibilities of teaching children according to the lesson plan for the week,
maintaing a creative, fun, and safe space for children to come and learn. Kept track
of all student work and the process of firing and glazing, as well as organizing finished
work. Had the opportunity to work on my own body of work and try new techniques.
